Galalith is a biodegradable semi-finished material, representing for Gremolith Italia the core of its business, granting to the customer the possibility to obtain finished products of very high quality.
Our company has always been committed to research and development of increasingly green and future-oriented solutions. This is the reason why we make galalith, a natural product obtained from the hardening of casein, the protein of milk. Our goal is to use in our working process casein obtained from surplus quantities of milk not intended for food industry, a conscious choice to make the best use of environmental resources and reduce the impact on our planet.
Our mission is to respect the environment and improve the available resources, according to a green effort, of which we are proud. Thanks to its naturalness, galalith is an excellent alternative to materials proceeding from protected animals, such as horn, mother of pearl, ivory, tortoise and coral. Soft and velvety to touch, Galalith imitates perfectly these materials, keeping unvaried most of their original features, including consistency, strength, durability and flexibility.
